When will I get my oil?

Our deliveries typically arrive within 48 hours, though this can vary depending on the weather.

If you require an emergency order, just let us know when ordering. An emergency order typically reach you within 24 hours.

What is the VAT rate for fuel?

For domestic orders and oil for use in off road vehicles and machines the VAT rate is 5%. For orders over 2,300 litres the standard rate of VAT is charged.

What do I do if I discover a leak or spill?

If you have a leak or spill you should ring the Environment Agency emergency hotline on 0800 807 060.

How can I tell the difference between gas oil and road diesel?

Gas oil can be distinguished from road diesel by colour, as gas oil is coloured red. Gas oil can only be used in off road vehicles and machines.

What do I need to know about storing oil?

Can I switch to paperless billing?

Yes, you can switch to e-invoicing by sending an email to register@myheatingoil.net with your name and account number and we'll do the rest.
